Delete a customer - BrandWallet

DELETE $BASE_URL/v1/customers/:id

Soft-deletes the customer: the record is marked as deleted, their active coupons are disabled, and they disappear from list, find, and transaction flows.

Auth: Authorization: Bearer <accessToken> — an organization-scoped token from Authentication. Missing or invalid token returns 401. Deletion works even without an active subscription — data removal is always possible.

Response

Returns 200 with the deleted customer record (status reflects the deleted state).

Notes:

Deletion frees the customer’s email, phone, and opaqueId for reuse — uniqueness checks ignore deleted customers.
A deleted customer cannot be updated, registered, or found; recreate them with Create or Register if needed.
